You may not have to reapply! Under the Back2UA program, students who left Arizona on Academic Eligible, Academic Review, or Academic Warning status and who missed no more than two consecutive regular semesters may return to the University of Arizona without applying for re-admission. Please reach out to your academic advisor for more information, and we look forward to having you back!
Students who left on Academic Probation or Ineligible status must submit an application for readmission through the Office of Admissions. Applications are considered on a case-by-case basis and approval is not guaranteed. We recommend reaching out to the academic advisor who oversees your intended major for guidance.
No problem! The first step toward returning is by submitting an application for readmission through the Office of Admissions. Please be sure to review application submission deadlines, which are dependent on your academic status following your last term of enrollment. Please note that requests for readmission if you left on Academic Probation or Ineligible status are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the college.
There may be options for your return to UArizona. We ask that students on academic ineligible status who wish to return to complete one of the options below for consideration of readmission (and please note that completion of these steps does not guarantee approval for readmission, which is considered on a case-by-case basis):
- Complete a minimum of 24 units with an attempted GPA of 3.00 for all transferrable courses from another institution.
- Reapply to UArizona on the condition of mandatory enrollment in Second Start, after an absence of at least three years.
Please reach out to us at cohadv@arizona.edu with any questions about our readmission process.
